Our Story

Kirk and Karen Hale, a passionate husband-and-wife team with deep roots in horticulture, We began as a shared dream to cultivate beauty and sustainability. From our first hand-planted tree to our thriving nursery today, we’ve grown into a trusted local source for premium plants and expert landscaping solutions. Our family’s hands-on approach ensures every plant we grow reflects our commitment to excellence and love for nature.

We offer towering trees in 15- and 25-gallon containers, many reaching 12 to 18 feet tall, and robust shrubs in 3-, 5-, and 7-gallon containers. These premium plants deliver instant impact and exceptional value for your landscape.
  • Personal Delivery Within 40 Miles: We don’t just grow plants—we bring them to you! Our team personally delivers trees and shrubs within a 40-mile radius of our nursery in Southaven MS, ensuring your plants arrive healthy and ready to thrive. You can purchase and pay for anything we sell on our website ShadeTreesandShrubs.com 24/7 and we will deliver your purchase to you. Even if you purchase your trees and shrubs in person we still deliver everything we sell. Most of our trees are in 15 gallon containers and 10 to 18 ft tall and can't fit in even a large pickup truck.

We want to make sure all of our orders are properly delivered to you and in good shape.

WE PERSONALLY DELIVER ALL OF OUR ORDERS TO OUR CIUSTOMERS AT A TIME OF AGREEMENT

WE GUARANTEE YOUR SATISFACTION WITH THE PLANTS WE HAVE PERSONALLY SELECTED FOR YOU, OR YOU PICKED OUT YOURSELF IF YOU VISITED IN PERSON OR WE WILL REFUND YOUR PURCHASE PRICE AND DELIVERY FEE IF ANY.

$400 or more         FREE DELIVERY!

 Once your payment is received, your order will be delivered within 2-7 working days for orders under $399. Please make sure you meet our minimum order of $400.00 for faster and free delivery. Usually within 2-3 working days. You do not have to be there for delivery however, we prefer it. Our typical delivery days are Tuesday and Friday's. We will call you when we are headed your way.

We may be able to deliver outside of our delivery area for orders above $400.00 with just a fuel surchage added please contact us for a price quote. Please don't hesitate to call with any questions. Our number is 662-580-4433 Monday thru Saturday 9-5 CT.

After your order has been placed and you are ready to check out, you may specify where you wish the plants to go, such as, “in the driveway”, or “curb-side” or "near the front door". If no location is specified, the delivery person will leave plants in the front yard in the best possible location.
